This is a guide for what to expect for your session, please read it ALL! It may answer questions that are already floating around in your head! I may or may have not used the vendors in the links provided so please be sure to check them just like you would with any other online purchase.
... WHAT TO EXPECT...
SESSION LOCATION:
Start to think about your session destination! What type of background would you like? Do you even have a preference? If you have any special requests for a location or preference let me know right away so we can pick a spot. If the location is more than an hour away from Santaquin, Utah there may be travel fees associated with it so please ask.
Also remember when selecting a destination to take into consideration the season, weather conditions, and flower schedule.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Pinterest is a great resource for "what to wear" and color combo ideas, go browse! Textures, layers, ruffles, denim, scarves, etc are all great for photos. Please avoid distracting prints (some prints are ok though!) and logos unless it has a purpose. Remember, wear darker colors in areas you want to minimize and lighter colors in areas you want to highlight. If you are self conscious about your waist line, do not wear a SOLID light colored shirt - you will look bigger. If you feel like you have a large booty, don't wear light colored pants - go with something darker. Avoid wearing baseball hats, sunglasses, etc unless it's part of the "style" of your session or a prop. Do NOT wear your clothes when you are in-route IF they will wrinkle, wrinkle removal is not something I generally do! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

WHAT TO BRING:
If you want props for your session, you will need to supply them yourself unless I happen to have what you want in my inventory so please check with me right away to see what I have, do not wait until the night before. If it’s an outdoor location and you plan to wear sandals or heels or go barefoot, please bring a pair of boots or sneakers just in case there is any hiking or rough terrain involved. This goes for anyone that may be accompanying you to your session, please make sure they are dressed appropriately. Also know that anywhere with unmaintained grass, creeks, bushes, etc can have ticks or mosquitoes so please bring repellent!! Bring water, snacks, and tools of bribery for any children (smarties are a good one!) - especially if your session is in the hotter weather! If you plan to end your session in a creek, bring towels and dry clothes!
Interested in using smoke bombs during your session? Check this site out! Grenades last the longest, buy more then one incase there's a dud!
BIRTHDAY SESSIONS - Sessions can include a smash cake for no additional charge IF you supply your own cake. BRING ON THE MESS! :)
If you plan to do a smash cake session, I highly recommend introducing your little one to cake BEFORE the session so he/she will be more likely to ravage the cake during the session ;)
WHO CAN COME:
I prefer that only people to be photographed come HOWEVER in the event that there will be animals and/or small children present during the session please feel free to bring one adult or older teen to manage them when they are not in the photos being taken.
FINAL PAYMENT:
The remaining balance is due the day of the session via Cash, Check or Venmo. If you prefer to pay via Square let me know, all Square invoices must be paid by the night before your session date. Please let me know HOW you would like to pay so if necessary I can bill you.
IMAGE DELIVERY:
After our shoot, your unedited proofs are usually delivered within 1 week after the session date in an online gallery - you will be emailed or texted the link and password. Please READ the email for instructions on how to access and use your proofs gallery. For a standard portrait session, your final gallery should be delivered in 2-5 weeks after you have notified me that you have made your selection for editing.
*Please note that when you receive your proof gallery you CANNOT post, screenshot, or share any of the images UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS IS A VIOLATION OF THE SERVICE CONTRACT. If you are found sharing any images from the PROOFS gallery then you will risk not receiving your final edits and you will NOT be refunded.*
IMAGE DELIVERY EXCEPTIONS:
Please know that fantasy, zombie, dress extension, and unicorn edits take even more time than a standard session so you can be looking at receiving your final images more towards the five week period. I am a mother with two children so my schedule is not set in stone. I do my best to not deviate from the listed time periods, but in the event that I have something personal going on there may be a delay and I do my best to notify my clients of this.
IF FOR ANY REASON YOU NEED AN EXPEDITED IMAGE FOR A PARTY OR CELEBRATION THAT FALLS PRIOR TO THE FIVE WEEK DATE THEN LET ME KNOW SO WE CAN ARRANGE 1-2 IMAGES TO BE EXPEDITED FOR YOUR EVENT.
